our new schedule

July has been a busy month for us and last week Ben started working at MFI. On Tuesday Ben was able to go on a flight to Haiti and the Dominican Republic to help drop off cargo and a short term mission team as well as pick one up. It was a long day that started at 4:30 and he did not get home till 7:30. The rest of the week Ben helped to maintain the DC 3's when they were not flying and go through orientation training. You can get the latest news at MFI at the website www.missionaryflights.org .
Since daddy started back at work the kids and I thought we would take the time to start homeschooling. We just started doing a little math and art each day and getting back into a routine . On Monday afternoons Lucy goes to gymnastics , Tuesday nights we to to a local bible club , and on Fridays we visit the local library.  I am glad that we have started school a bit early because this way we can go a more relaxed pace and still get used to living in Florida. Lucy really loves gymnastics and was asked to bump up to the next level of team training but Ben and I decided for this year she would just do it once a week. Jonas has been busy illustrating books and having us dictate them. He tells me he would like to be like Bill Keane the creator of the Family Circus comic .
Lucy hard at work , she tries extra hard to keep up with her older brother.

Jonas really enjoys math.

working on phonics

Still getting used to our new schedule, and what happens when you wake up at 4 :45 in excitement to start school.

Now if we could just find a maid of have the kids all nap at the same time.
