Anniversary and Beyond

Our summer is coming to a close as the school year is coming closer but as we look back upon our summer we have a lot to be thankful for. We are thankful that my folks came out to visit us in June as it had been a few years since I had seen them, thankful that Ben was kept safe during the busiest time of flying at MFI, that we were able to escape for a weekend with the kids to celebrate our anniversary ( I know that an anniversary trip with kiddos does not sound romantic but it meant a lot to the kids to go on a small vacation), and that Miles started talking. Sometimes I look  at our kids and am reminded at how fast they are growing and part of me celebrates and part of me mourns. Jonas and Lucy have stopped napping ,Miles is being potty trained as well as learning to talk, and the older two have become real big helpers and show more independence everyday .
Please continue to pray for our upcoming school year for and for endurance. We have a lot going on this year in addition to schooling and pray that we can balance it all well. Also pray that God can continue to provide for us faithfully. We have had a few supporters leave us and we pray that a few more will join to fill in the gaps but overall we are thankful that God has shown himself faithful every month.

Lucy's favorite fish we saw while swimming. It is a parrot fish and poops out sand.
