Prayer Request

When Ben and I moved to Ohio we decided to apply for life insurance for both of us. The life insurance company sent someone out to our house to take our blood to check for preexisting conditions. Ben's results came back fine with no problems but my blood work showed that I had slightly elevated liver enzymes. So I made an appointment with a local doctor to discuss my blood work results. He said we would give it sometime and recheck my blood work every few months for a while. I recently had my blood work drawn again and once again the enzymes were slightly elevated although some had decreased , increased, and decreased again. Anyhow, after seeing a specialist and getting an ultrasound on my liver all has tested negative for any problem. The doctors are still confused as to why my liver enzymes may be elevated so the next step they see is to have a liver biopsy. Ben and I really don't want this to happen for several reasons, it is costly, but more importantly the liver biopsy is pretty intrusive and they would cut a sliver of my liver out and then I would be on bed rest and lying on my right side for a week. Now bed rest and having two toddlers doesn't really go hand in hand. So Ben and I asked the doctor if we could retest my enzymes since it had been a few months since they had been done before deciding in favor of a biopsy. So my prayer request for you is that you pray for wisdom and for my body to decrease the enzymes slightly back to normal. Now I have taken it upon myself to start running again and eat rich antioxidants food as well as we are trying out a herb called milk thistle. So far  the milk thistle has escalated the problems with severe migraines so please pray we can get wisdom on proper dosage and effectiveness.Also, Ben and I have personal decisions to make regarding the results of the blood work and other areas of our lives. So please pray as we go through this trial that we can find joy and not give Satan a foothold into worry and despair.
