Two new additions

When we moved here a year ago, we soon realized that we were not the only occupants in our new home. After several nights of hearing scurrying above our heads and spotting a few unwelcome visitors we decided eviction was in order. We first purchased them a new hotel to make as a home but after night two and seeing the hotel only held four at one time , we knew we needed to step it up a notch . So we went back and purchased our visitors peanut butter snack traps. After a week we thought we had spotted all the family members but to our despair they had been having a family reunion for quite some time and the party was not done.  After a year of trapping and evicting 53 of our visitors, we knew we needed to rethink our preference of not having an indoor/ outdoor animal while we lived here. So that leads us up to two days ago when we were given two new family additions. We were only planning on one but after our friend who gave them to us stated they would keep each other company and two is just as easy as one, we consented.

Here our photos of new additions adjusting to Fisher life. As long as the new additions can handle two excited toddlers I think they may have a chance.

Ben and I have decide to name them George ( after Curious George)  and Lilly (short for Tiger Lilly)  . Another lesson we soon learned when choosing kittens make sure you have the same gender. Anyhow, Jonas has decided to name them Mommy and Daddy and I said don't you think that might get confusing. What if you said, " Come here Mommy and Daddy ." He responded matter of fact, "Well you guys don't come anyways. " Problem solved I guess, at least in his mind.

So regardless, I have spent the last day potty training four young ones instead of one and so far we have success with three of them. I have to admit I can't wait for the kittens to get a little older and move outdoors but for now they are providing entertainment for everyone.
Jonas is reading the kittens a book before their afternoon cat nap... Lucy does this too but she reads in Meow Language  to them.
