Hangar Happenings

While we sort through the next steps in our lives, I have had the oppurtunity to continue to help out in the hangar here at MMS Aviation. In between doctor appointments and dentist visits, I have been working on a Cessna 310 that is used by an organization named Flights for Christ. This is a neat group that is actually based in IL and flies down to Haiti periodically providing an efficient and affordable way of transporting cargo and people to the country. In addition to the international flights performed, they are also able to do domestic flights of compassion for families in crisis and with medical needs.

The 310 came here last year for an annual inspection and has since been down to Haiti and back. Airplanes, like any machine, require a lot of maintenance. So, after the lastest flight, it came back with a small list of things to adjust and fix.

I am happy to say that it is on target to be finished and go back into service sometime next week. It has been a fun project for me and rewarding as I cross things off of the list.

Thank you to all of you who are supporting us financially and prayerfully. We are in an interesting time of life as we are discerning where God wants us and how our family fits into His calling. We never realized how many things there are to consider for this next step. Ultimately, we are praying for God's wisdom and strength to follow Him and obey Him wherever He sends us.

We are currently at about 75-80% of our monthly quota for serving in missions (most ministries are in the same ballpark as far as how much you need to live on it seems). If you are interested in helping us get to 100% please email us at clbjfisher@excite.com or call us at 740- 623-0629. Caroline or I would love to help you learn how you can become part of the support team!
