The Recent Past

The month of December was a busy one for us, with a birthday to celebrate, Christmas parties to attend, holidays to enjoy, and two little munchkins to chase around. We enjoyed celebrating Christmas here in Ohio although we missed not being able to see family. We were able to go to a friends house Christmas day and enjoyed hanging out with them and eating a tasty Christmas dinner.
The highlight of the month was teaching Jonas and Lucy the true meaning of Christmas , now Lucy says this when she prays, " Thank you that Jesus was born in a barn.." We also enjoyed seeing their excitement and anticipation all month about opening gifts. After Lucy was playing with her first gift she opened we later heard her say, "This gift is amazing," I'm glad a doll house is all we need for a gift to be AMAZING, someday that will not be the case.
Here are a collection of photos from the past month.
Dressing up as Joseph for Awanas

Lucy is very happy!

Trying to act like a proper young lady.

Every wonder where she got her smile from?

Our stockings, even one for Miles just in case.
Reading the Christmas story picture book before opening presents.

Trying on Grandma Peaks presents.

All dressed up and ready to go sledding , just waiting on dad to get ready.

The first four inches before we got 8 more inches of snow.

Trying out baby Miles car seat.

Dancing before bed.

All dressed up in white for Awanas night .

Playing dress up before breakfast .

In more recent news we are only two weeks away before our baby Miles will bless us with his presence, if not before. I have to admit I am very ready for this little one to come as each day gets a bit harder.  So we are enjoying the calm before the storm. We know that adding one more little one will make us even more busy, if that is even possible.
