Holiday season ...

We have been home for a few weeks now and are settling back into our routine. Ben went back to the airport to volunteer part time a few weeks ago. We are also busy celebrating the holiday season with extra Christmas parties and events. We started fulfilling our Christmas bucket list the kids made by attending the local Christmas parade in town. We have also drank hot cocoa, went sledding, had a snowball fight, ate pizza by the Christmas tree, played a board game, decorated the tree, made a gingerbread train, made gingerbread cookies, and made Christmas ornaments , after all that the kids still have fifteen items they 'd like to do. So as you can tell our kiddos and other obligations keep us busy. We are still pushing forward with our application process with Wycliffe and will be having our last interview next week. The deadline for applying for Wycliffe has been pushed up several months so we need to have the application completed by January 5th. Please pray that if this is God's will for us that he will allow every detail to fall into place. Ben and I are seeking out Godly counsel so that we may make the best decision for our family and what God has in mind for us . We look forward to figuring out God's will for our lives and just what he has planned our family. This time of transition has been stressful at times so you could pray for extra endurance and patience for us . On January 10th I also have an appointment with a specialist to figure out the cause of my high liver enzymes . Please pray that it is something that can be dealt with easily and taken care of.  We think it may be my gallbladder but need to wait till Miles weans to get the proper testing done to check it out. Thanks for your prayers and we wish you a Merry Christmas from our family to yours.
