The Man of La Muffin
Jonas has become quite the helper in the kitchen lately (ref. "Jonas the Handyman"). But besides mexican, he can help whip up some pretty mean muffins as well. This of course sparks the chorus to the popular kids tune "Do You Know the Muffin Man."
The other day at supper, I ate one of his muffins because he was finished and wanted to play, and I hate wasting food. He immediately started crying uncontrollably and as Caroline and I looked at each other wondering why, he blurted out, "Daddy eat muffin man!"
We tried to console him and explain that it couldn't possibly be THE Muffin Man because we live nowhere near Drury Lane and muffins can't drive. The closest it could possibly be was his cousin or maybe nephew. After awhile, he calmed down and went to play. He must be okay with it, because we've had muffins since then and no more tears.
