This week, Ben is in the midst of the flying portion of the TE, last week he did the maintenance portion and this week the flying. The flying portion has seemed to be more intense, he has a lot to think about all at once and has to be quick in his decision making while still listening to instructions of what to do. I imagine it is similar to taking the driving test and listening to the officer give instructions to you, except the TE flying test lasts a week and is more complex.

On Friday the JAARS instructors will debrief over the maintenance and flying portion of the TE. They informed us this will take at least all morning as they look over their notes. Then they will give us a call and we will meet at the airport for a meeting, upon that they will say yay or nay and then we will figure out our next step. Please pray for us and especially Ben as he is ready to relax and take a break from studying.
